Job Title:Property Claims Adjuster

American Reliable Insurance Company part of Assurant Specialty Property, a Fortune 500 Company has two immediate opening for a Property Claims Adjusters.

The Property Claims Adjuster confirms coverage. Assigns claims to outside appraisers when needed. Must be able to read and interpret a variety of personal lines property policy forms. Responsible for timely investigation, coverage interpretation, and review of property estimates for accuracy, and negotiation to bring the file to the appropriate conclusion. Must be customer service oriented which entails responding to a high volume of telephone activity. We are looking for a person who enjoys working in a team environment with a focus on quality.









* Knowledgeable and experienced with computer systems, Simsol, Exactamate etc.
* 3-4 years of related experience in the handling of First Party Property claims.
* Must obtain adjuster licenses in the required states. This can be accomplished after the candidate begins employment. Hired with the Arizona adjuster license would be a plus.
* NFIP Flood claims background a plus.
