MANAGER OF FINANCIAL ANALYSIS - AIRLINE

Allegiant Air - a growing and successful airline has an immediate opening for a Manager of Financial Analysis - Airline at our corporate office located in the SW area of Las Vegas, NV

This position leads the company’s financial analysis capabilities.​ To do so, the individual will lead the company in providing external and internal analyses to support the company’s decision making.​ Deliverables include complex modeling and analyses vs.​ various benchmarks.​ The position will also partner with business unit managers on financial matters by understanding requirements, drivers and alternatives.​

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

o Develop and maintain standardized business case models for use in evaluating opportunities
o DCF knowledge required
o Proactively seek opportunities to drive profitability and challenge the business assumptions of others and encourage innovation to drive the business into new markets where appropriate
o Logically structure complex issues and communicate conclusions and alternatives
o Airline experience preferred but not required
o Move large amounts of data that require consolidation to analyze business cases
o Partner with operating unit heads and provide business guidance
o Other responsibilities as assigned
o Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug screen
o Must have authorization to work in the U.​S.​ as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

o B.​A.​ in Finance, Economics or Accounting
o MBA, CPA or CFA a plus

Experience:

o Minimum 5 years experience in relevant analytical and/​or finance positions at a divisional or corporate level with at least two years of analyst experience, managerial experience a plus
o Airline experience preferred
# Knowledge of Airline operations (e.​g.​ Flight Operations, Maintenance, Fuel) given preference
# Engineering background a plus

Knowledge:

o Excel
o Access (preferred)
o Essbase experience a plus
o Ability to work with various data repositories and extract data


Working conditions: Open cubicle office environment.​ Some (but likely not intensive) travel may be required

Physical demands: Minimal with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
