Nurse Practitioner, Family Practice

Nurse Practitioner, Family Practice: Provide a broad range of health care services to individuals, families, and groups. In addition to diagnosing and managing acute episodic and chronic illness, they will also emphasize health promotion and disease prevention, incorporating teaching and counseling. Treat both acute and chronic conditions through comprehensive history taking, physical exams, physical therapy, ordering tests and therapies for patients, within their scope of practice.

Basic qualifications: Must be licensed as a nurse practitioner by one of the states in the United States. National board certification for nurse practitioner. Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association. Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients and other HCPs. Must meet Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements. Must complete and maintain Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) required training for the position. Have and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) training. U.S. citizen. Comply with and meet health and immunization requirements. Provider will not within 5 years prior to employment, had his/her clinical privileges limited, suspended, or revoked by any health care facility, public or private, anywhere in the world. Must pass a National Agency Check (NAC).
