Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer you will be responsible for making design decisions and recommendations based on the project requirements. You must be able to effectively communicate with and direct the work of other engineers and drafters on your team to successfully meet project targets and deadlines.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

* Thorough knowledge of the design process from concept design stage through to project completion.

* Extensive experience in structural analysis and design concept on a variety of projects inclusive of high-rise, residential and industrial.

* Working knowledge of American codes and standards.

* Experience with structural analysis and design software, including ETABS, SAFE, SAP and STAAD.

Qualifications: BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering. Professional registration from a recognized body would be preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Structural Design, Production Drawings, Structural Design Reviews and Structural Design Management. Must have seen own design work through construction phase.

Previous experience gained within a Consultancy Firm and within the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
