Job Summary:



Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs to building and various building operations systems.​



Essential functions and responsibilities:




* Perform preventative and general maintenance to building and mechanical operating systems.​ Work with engineers and other maintenance staff in making minor repairs to various building operating systems.​

* Chiller Readings and water treatment tests.​

* Conduct repairs to general building areas, lavatories, stairwells, and air ducts.​ Replace and/​ or repair fixtures as needed.​ Must be able to change light bulbs, and grease bearings.​

* Conduct repairs to the roof.​

* Work on tenant improvement construction projects and inspect construction projects.​

* May assist tenants with internal building moves.​




Other Job Functions:




* Responsible for tenant work requests and preventative maintenance.​

* Schedules and may oversee work of outside contractors.​

* Assists Property Manager as needed.​




Required qualifications:




* High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), CFC Certification, SMT from BOMA a plus.​

* Minimum 5 years previous facilities maintenance /​ janitorial /​ engineering experience.​

* Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes and handbooks.​

* Ability to use various testing devises related to the mechanical trades.​

* Ability to handle multiple projects.​

* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environment.​


· Some knowledge of computers preferred.​
