The FSO / CPSO provides oversight and administration of security relative to classified programs involving Department of Defense (DoD), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program/Special Access Required (SAP/SAR) information.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Interprets and applies U.S. Government Director, Central Intelligence Directives (DCID), Joint Airforce-Army- Navy Manual (JAFAN) and National Industrial Security Program Operations Manual (NISPOM) Overprint to comply with government requirements and regulations.
2. Oversees compliance with the Special Security Agreement between the US government and foreign owners as well as assists with determination for the potential need or requirement from customers of a National Interest Determination (NID) and assists with gathering and providing the information necessary for a customer to generate a NID.
3. Interfaces with management and maintains liaison with US Government Program Security Officers. Provides direction and guidance to other employees with regard to security issues. Meets with government customers during security reviews and ensures a satisfactory or better review rating through their execution of the company security program.
4. Develops and revises security plans, procedures and instructions. Develops and provides security education and awareness, conducts security briefings, participates in self inspections and audits, and investigates security incidents.
5. Provides prime/subcontractor security support and direction including the development and maintenance of DD254's. Evaluates Security Classification Guides and ensures distribution to program management and subcontractors.
6. Support other security disciplines within special programs to include: Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Systems (IS) Security, Communications Security (COMSEC), Document Control and Visitor Control. Some travel may be required. Performs other related duties as necessary.
1. B.A. or equivalent Industrial Security Experience.
2. 4-6 years of related experience. Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), NISPOM Supplement, Department of Defense (DOD) Overprint, Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) 6/3, 6/4, 6/9, and Joint Air Force, Army, Navy (JAFAN) Manual 6/3, 6/9.
3. 4-6 years supporting Special Access Programs
4. A current Top Secret/SSBI clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
5. Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems and provide focused solutions.
6. Ability to Supervise employee (s).
7. Professional demeanor, good people skills, ability to communicate effectively, perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment and other skills as necessary to manage all aspects of security.
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is essential.
