Position Description:
Genworth Financial, Home Equity Access is one of the nation’s leaders in the Reverse Mortgage industry. Our focus is to help Change the Lives of the seniors we work with. This is a growing industry and this growth leads to an exciting career opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Online Marketing Development Manager. We are looking for people who will take their roles seriously and professionally, yet still want to have fun and enjoy what they do.
This position will define, launch, and grow GFHEAs online marketing and online lead generation programs, and provide the insight to maximize the effectiveness of our search engine marketing (SEM) efforts. We are looking for a marketing professional who is driven to look through the numbers to own the program and influence spend and strategic decisions. From web interface, to keyword strategy, from ad copy creative, to testing and optimization, you will drive program definition, implementation, and analysis.
Past experience in SEM is required, including both PPC and SEO. Experience with SEM tools is a must.
Core Responsibilities:
• Define the web and SEM strategy and campaigns
• Own the online assets that drive new business
• Define campaign structure and tracking
• Develop email marketing programs for existing and potential clients
• Analyze, optimize, and drive keyword selection, expansion, and refinement
• Monitor performance of campaigns; work with search partners to achieve target metrics
• Drive more business through SEM through superior campaign management and project management
• Develop on-going testing initiatives for ad copy and landing pages
• Develop and implement strategy to leverage strong national brand to be a page one search return for popular keywords in the space
• Conceptualize and initiate tests (keyword bids, ad copy, and landing pages) in order to continually improve key metrics (click, search, convert) across campaigns
• Provide and maintain weekly reporting
• Investigate and implement new technologies, services, automation capabilities, and/or vendor solutions that enhance SEM.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of online marketing experience. 2+ years of SEM experience.
• Strong applied analytics. You must have a demonstrable history of campaign analysis and making decisions based on the data. This should be a passion for you.
• Familiarity with current search strategies (including long-tail bidding, geo-targeting, content networks, display, etc.)
• Knowledge of bid management tools and web analytics tools (WebTrends, Google AdWords and Google Analytics, etc.)
• Knowledge of organic search engine optimization (SEO) tactics and the relationship between paid and organic search preferred
• An entrepreneurial spirit. You are expected to grow SEM performance and its impact on the business
• Web design, user interface, and HTML experience a big plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
This position pays between $60K and $90K plus bonus(depending on experience and fit with the company). We also offer a full time benefits package (which includes health insurance, 401k plan with match, company funded benefits plan, 20 annual PTO days and 11 paid holidays).
