Position: General Manager

Location: Farmers Ranchers Cooperative, Ainsworth, NE

Highlights: This financially strong diverse cooperative with 7 locations is nestled in the beautiful sand hills of north central Nebraska. Products and services include feed manufacturing, retail petroleum, bulk petroleum, propane, full service agronomy, farm & ranch supply, tire and auto service centers. This successful cooperative has annual sales of $42 million.



This position requires an understanding of finance, budgeting, planning, business process controls, risk management and preferred understanding of Ag Trax accounting as well as good communication, supervisory, public relations and organizational skills to manage the total operation and also have a basic knowledge of feed and the farm supply business. The successful candidate will work extensively with the management team and a local board of directors. The preferred candidate must have past cooperative management experience and must be able to make decisions and work independently. The candidate must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.



Required Experience:

Finance, budgeting, planning, business process controls, risk management

Knowledge of feed and the farm supply business

Division/Cooperative management experience



Preferred understanding of Ag Trax accounting.
