Clinical Support RN (Labor & Delivery) Job Description:

This is a full time role, working for a Medical Device company out of the Boston area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery Nursing and will also have a basic knowledge of Clinical Research. The main focus of this position will be working on site at a hospital, training doctors and nurses how to use the company's device, and also ensuring that the company's protocols are adhered to. A nursing degree as well as experience working in a Labor and Delivery or Obstetrics are both requirements


Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, the Clinical Support is responsible for the field support of the company’s product, an external dilation monitor. The CSR meets with doctors involved in the clinical trial of this product for the purpose of training, education and site implementation.

Essential Functions:

- Develop relationships to create "product advocates" among key opinion leaders
- Provide customer support services and complaint resolution within a designated area for doctors involved in the clinical trial
- The CSR will be responsible for tracking, reporting and resolving customer issues and complaints including but not restricted to product issues or failures. A designated CSR will be a member of the complaint review committee. Designated CSRs will provide input to marketing toward the development of customer training and education materials used to carry out training for new or existing customers. CSRs will trouble shoot customer/product issues and develop recommendations for improvement.

Experience & Educational Requirements

· Minimum of 2 years customer support experience to the hospital market (in addition Nursing experience in obstetrics is strongly preferred)
· Bachelor’s degree (nursing degree or midwifery required)
