Ship System Work Control Technician
Do you have aircraft carrier or submarine ship systems operational or testing experience?
Kelly Engineering is in search of an highly motivated Ship Systems Work Control Analyst Technician.
***DOD Security Clearance Required***.
Prefer candidates with either shipyard or active duty Navy operational system experience on aircraft carriers or submarines.
This position requires a Bachelors degree or an Apprentice School graduate, or the equivalent in specialized education, training and experience gained through either an Associates degree in a technical discipline and relevant experience or US Navy training and experience.
A candidate must have effective communications and presentations skills.
Candidates must be able to apply well thought out work control principles and methods to analyze and resolve moderately complex work control and tag-out problems relating to the development and conduct of the non-nuclear work and test program, acquired through the equivalent in specialized education, training and experience gained through relevant US Navy service or shipbuilding experience.
A candidate should be familiar with the operation and testing of non-nuclear ship's systems and related systems, interfaces with nuclear systems, etc., acquired through shipbuilding or naval training and experience.
Incumbents operate under general supervision and may control and direct work control and tag-out activities performed by others, as provided by procedure.
Incumbents may function in a lead capacity for planning and conducting work control and tag-outs for specifically assigned ship systems to support ship construction or overhaul.
The job requires frequent contact with all levels of personnel within the Company, as well as Ship's Force personnel and Supship representatives.
An incumbent provides technical expertise and independent decision making in the development and conduct of the work control and tag-out plans and documents; applying thought out planning, technical principles, and methods.
