This role will be based in Düsseldorf. Our department "Coal Trade - Region Atlantic" is searching for a
Lead Fuel Purchaser - International Coal (m/f)
Responsibilities

* Identify and Purchase International Coal for E.ONs European Power Stations.
* Manage the International coal purchasing team
* Ensure coal is purchased in accordance with E.ONs risk framework ensuring sufficient quantities of the right coal quality are purchased in line of generation forecasts at minimum costs
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with coal suppliers and traders and maintain highest professional standards
* Significant international travel is expected

Qualifications

* Educated to degree level with qualifications in either a technical (fuel specific) or business (law/economics) discipline.
* Strong negotiation and international skills both orally and in writing - ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships at all levels both internally and externally
* Strong communication skills quick creative and ability to explit communication opportunities as they arise whilst ensuring that all purchases are carried out in full accordance with E.ONs purchasing framework
* A foreign language would be an advantage in particular Russian
* Significant experience in Fuel purchasing and with an in depth knowledge of Worlds Coal Basins
