Information Technology Program Director

In this dynamic role, you will manage the transition of the program into a larger system that provides both campus-based and online delivery. Reporting to the Academic Dean, responsibilities include leading faculty recruitment and retention efforts, providing effective academic and administrative leadership for a growing faculty and providing academic advisement to program students.



Qualifications:

· PhD (or ABD) or comparable terminal degree in computer science or related fields. MCSE certification is strongly desired.

· MCSE certification is strongly desired

· Must provide evidence of effective preparation as subject matter experts for teaching in those departments and additionally will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education

· Proven teaching abilities

· Excellent organizational skills, communication, interpersonal relationship and problem-solving skills

· High capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities are required

· Prior supervisory experience is desired.

· An enthusiasm for teaching and a sensitivity to the needs of adult learners will be crucial to your success
