Our client is the Benelux operation of a leading international company providing industrial products to a wide variety of industrial, institutional and retail customers.​







POSITION



Reporting to the Managing Director and a key member of the company management team, she/​he will have have the following main accountabilities :



*
Lead and coach a team of 8 people dealing respectively with accounting, reporting, and credit control, payroll management, IT support and sales administration /​ customer service.​
*
Handle efficiently the more analytical and strategic aspects of financial management (planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury …).​
*
Manage administrative and legal tasks requiring specific attention, e.​g.​ with respect to HR administration and Tax management.​
*
Provide direct support and advice to the Managing Director where- and whenever needed.​





CANDIDATE PROFILE



The successful candidate wil need to meet the following key conditions :

*
Proven and relevant experience in a similar position, implying a thorough understanding of accounting and reporting systems in a Benelux environment (knowledge of both Belgian and Dutch accounting legislations is thus a must).​
*
Strong business sense and the ability to perform value-added analytical work.​
*
Proven organisation, people and process management skills as well as the ability to design and implement adequate administrative structures.​
*
Open, dynamic, hands-on and reliable personality having the ability to provide a support and advisory role to the General Manager.​



Detailed profile requirements are as follows :



*
University graduate in business management, higher education in accounting or equivalent.​
*
Relevant professional track of minimum 8 years, including a first successful track as a F&A Manager in a Benelux context.​
*
Strong and broad technical skills in accounting, finance and administration management.​
*
Good business and analytical sense.​
*
Proven organisation and people management skills, with affinity for the development and implementation of efficient processes and tools.​
*
Self-assured, open and mature personality, with good communication and interpersonal skills.​
*
Reliable, committed and hands-on attitude, with high integrity.​
*
Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is highly desired.​n.​
*
Good knowledge and affinity with usual IT office tools and accounting software’s.​
