Claims Representative II, Property





Primary Responsibilities Include:

· Evaluating Claims data, investigating facts and verifying coverage

· Determining liability and addressing recovery potential

· Documenting and reporting files in accordance with applicable standards

· Handling Claims with issues of moderate complexity

· Communicating with clients, customers and Vendors in order to promptly and equitably settle Claims

· Visiting customers at loss sites and thoroughly documenting damages by taking quality photographs and writing scope of repairs and estimates

· Assisting the insured and/or claimant in the securing emergency services

· Administering statements for all pertinent parties of a loss

· Attending various functions—including Mandatory Settlement-Conferences, Voluntary Settlement-Conferences, Arbitrations, Municipal-level Claims Court, etc.







A Successful Candidate Will Have:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· 3+ years of related Claims-Adjustment experience

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· PC literacy—including proficiency in Microsoft Word

· Strong customer-service, problem-solving and organizational skills







The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess:

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to multi-task
