Well established power generation company is seeking a Boiler Specialist with Coal Fired power generation exp for a direct hire position near Dallas, TX. Candidate will support the fossil generation boiler fleet, including working to identify and resolve plant operational and maintenance problems, evaluate unit efficiency/performance testing, maintenance, and operational procedures, and makes recommendations to address equipment issues. Candidate will develop, implement, and manage database-driven data pertaining to boilers and other fixed equipment, & work with the boiler inspectors to determine the correct repairs to major boiler components. Candidate will be involved in all phases of projects from bid specification and evaluation of new equipment, program development, risk analysis, complex troubleshooting of existing equipment, and engineering upgrade evaluations on existing equipment. Candidate must be a either a BS degreed engineer with 5+ years in coal-fired boiler construction and/or maintenance, or a Technical Specialist (non-degree) with 10+ years in coal-fired boiler construction and/or maintenance.
