Since 1959, Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc.​ (Universal®), the pioneer of international flight support services for corporate aviation, has been arranging, coordinating and providing complete services in support of a trip for corporate aviation operators worldwide.​ Services range from flight planning, permits and crew accommodations to online flight planning, a global ground handling network and a fueling card program.​ Universal has offices in over 50 countries throughout the world supporting clients that represent organizations that rely on corporate and private aircraft.​

Universal is currently seeking a Supervisor-Fuel Billing to be an integral part of our Accounting department.​ This position will be based in our corporate headquarters located near Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas.​

In this position, you will you will have general supervision responsibility for a Fuel Billing team to ensure expectations of clients are met through timely and accurate invoices.​

Additional responsibilities for the Supervisor-Fuel Billing will include:

· Supervise one of the Fuel Billing teams

· Determine/​communicate/​lead the vision and goals for the group

· Create measurements/​indicators to monitor performances

· Ensure policies and procedures and guidelines are adhered to

· Verify proper reconciliations are performed timely

· Proactively seek improvements through cost-reduction efforts and/​or work division and classification

· Lead and promote team members on cross-departmental collaboration efforts

· Oversee quality of clients’ invoices

· Manage all aspects of the invoice

· Work with vendors on improving process and flow of invoices

· Furnish monthly revenue information for financial statements

· Participate in other projects assigned by Billing or Revenue Accounting Manager



Requirements/​Qualifications of the Supervisor- Fuel Billing:

· College degree along with 5 years experience

· Supervisor experience

· Strong MS Office experience

· Oracle 11i experience a plus

· Superior leadership skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, handle and prioritize multiple tasks in pressure situations and deadlines

· Strong written and oral communications
