Assistant Plant Operator - Coal Fired Power Plant – Auxiliary Operator

Our client, a large national electric power generator, is actively seeking an Assistant Plant Operator for a coal fired power plant near Wilmington, Delaware.​ Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in a coal fired utility plant.​

Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma and 1 to 3 years of experience working in a coal, gas or oil fired electric plant.​ Must be willing to work shifts to include weekends and potential call-in.​ A New Jersey Boiler Operators License with a Black Seal is preferred but not requried.​ However, you must be able to pass the test for your license in order to remain employed.​ The interview process includes pre-employment background investigation, drug/​alcohol test, telephone and in-person interviews prior to extension of an offer.​ Only local candidates or those with a reason for living in the area will be considered.​

Compensation:
Total compensation for this position is anticipated to be in the $50,000 - $75,000 range including a base rate of $20/​hr - $24/​hr, built-in OT, and annual bonus of up to 30%​.​ Company offers full fringe benefits including relocation allowance to the best candidates.​
