Technisource, in partnership with a dynamic IT industry leader, is seeking an experienced Help Desk Analyst for their Ann Arbor, MI location. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring of all hardware in the Data Center and has the primary responsibility for the completion of production schedules, cycles, and backups on local and remote hardware.

· 1-3 yrs experience as a Computer Operator in a Data Center



Specific Job Duties:



· Operates and monitors all hardware in the Data Center and remote sites, including all network and telecommunications links

· Responsible for monitoring and responding to problems within Data Center environment, including power, a/c, cleanliness, and emergency services (fire, water, and intrusion alarms)

· Supports corporate helpdesk, answering helpdesk phone/email as needed. Ensures calls are logged into tracking system

· Responds to clients, handling minor requests as able and assigning more involved helpdesk problems to the appropriate technician

· Proactively monitor system activity to insure maximum throughput of all hardware systems to ensure that all SLAs are met

· Determines priorities and schedules work flow according to departmental and client deliverable expectations

· Provides support to the Corporate Technology group as required

· Manage Media Library inventory (35,000+ pieces), including receipt, logging, tracking, and appropriate disposal of media

· Monitor and maintain offsite vault, cycling critical media for disaster recovery storage

· Resolves, starts and documents designated production applications

· Acts as the focal point for problem resolution of any job run by the operations team

· Responsible for the content on all problem, turnover, and status logs
