COMPUTER FORENSIC ANALYST & SENIOR ANALYST
About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading computer forensic services company.
This role will involve investigation of computer related incidents, using computer forensic techniques and providing technical assistance to other team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DESIRED RESULTS:
Deal directly with clients and where necessary attend meetings with Computer Forensics Client Managers, Electronic Evidence Consultants, Legal Consultants and clients. To identify the clients requirements and obtain sufficient information to issue accurate quotes and subsequently provide them with appropriate technical solutions.
Liaise with Client Managers where their services are required to complete a Computer Forensic project. To ensure management of client expectations and delivery of end technical solutions and reports that meet the clients needs.
Deal with Computer Forensic cases and deliver on site consultancy services when and where required including assistance in Electronic Discovery projects.
• Accurately identify and capture sources of data which may have evidential value
• Deliver reports and evidential materials to timescale and ensure that they are of the format and quality required for court proceedings and end client requirements.
• Give expert opinion and evidence within expertise and experience.
• Work with the Sales and marketing teams.
• Produce and deliver presentations and marketing materials as required.
To identify and develop business opportunities
Maintain appropriate records such as Case notes, Outlook Diaries, Job Database and timesheets in a correct and timely manner. Provide accurate and timely information to management, enabling job progress and accuracy monitoring, and resource planning.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
• Forensic or Law enforcement background preferable.
• Degree level preferred but not essential where a proven track record exists.
• Basic Computer Forensic skills are essential.
• Knowledge of operating systems & Legal requirements
• Knowledge of EnCase or AccessData FTK tool (forensic toolkit) is essential
• Strong attention to detail is critical within this role as you may be working with large volumes of data.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
• Have the ability to mutlitask, organise own workload and communicate assertively with colleagues and peers.
