Ziebel was established in January 2006 when a group of experienced oil field entrepreneurs and investors decided “Let’s build a new international, reservoir-focused, well technology company that knocks the socks of the competitors, and let’s have fun while doing it!”



Now, two years on, we are more than 200 employees, ranging from geophysicists and deepwell technology ‘enthusiasts’ to financial controllers. Our headquarters are in Stavanger, and we also have personnel in Copenhagen, Aberdeen, London, Muscat, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Calgary, California, Tulsa, Midland, Houston and Caracas/El Tigre, and the journey has only just started...



By joining us, you will participate in the development and provision of services and technologies within advanced well intervention, reservoir drainage optimization, reservoir evaluation and more. We have a clear strategy to be very active on R&D. Ziebel also works closely with external technology and service partners, where we together bring new, combined solutions to the market place.
