We're looking for an RN with training experience to join our Bloomington, MN team. As the Training Specialist, you would coach and mentor our newly hired nurses and provide ongoing instruction for current employees. Primary responsibilities include:
Conducting new-hire orientation and nursing staff training
Following up with hiring managers to determine success and effectiveness
Strategizing with leadership team to determine training topics
Preparing monthly meetings for nationwide groups
Traveling to other OptumHealth sites
This role requires:
An RN license in the state of MN
Training experience in a clinical/healthcare or corporate setting
Group presentation experience
Computer proficiency
Ideal candidates will also possess:
A strong understanding of adult learning principles such as ADDIE and Kirkpatrick’s Levels 1- 4
Clinical educator experience
A strong background in systems training, customer service training, and general orientation training (ideally in a call center environment)
A background in case management
