Electrical Engineer - Lead Electrical/AC & DC/Oil and Gas 100-125 K/yr
Immediate Need in Houston Texas for a Lead Electrical Engineer. A minimum of 10 years experience and a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required. Must have lead or supervisor experience, you do not have to have managed direct reports but you have to have supervised in some form. Responsibilities include designing AC & DC Drive Control Systems for oil and gas facilities. You will have to develop bill of materials and electrical drawings. A good candidate will be able to calculate and check transformer, circuit breaker and motor control centers sizing requirements, perform short circuit calculations, and grounding requirements in accordance to sound design principles. You will have to provide consultation and technical services related to macro level electrical systems such as power lines, transformers, and power generators.
