We are currently looking for Two Financial Business Analysts for Regulatory Reporting.
For our Hong Kong office, we are looking for a
Jr or Sr BUSINESS ANALYST
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You are primarily responsible for translating product business requirements into functional specifications to be used by software developers.
You also act as a product manager for designated software products, gathering business requirements, driving their evaluation and selection process and supervising their implementation.
Assignments will be linked mainly to software products originating from UK and Ireland but also occasionally from other European countries. Therefore, short and occasional travels may be required to those countries.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
· At least bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in accounting, economics or finance.
Required experience/knowledge
· knowledge and working experience with regulatory compliance or reporting
· Knowledge of banking accounting and financial instruments
· Knowledge of Basel-II is a strong asset
· Computer literate, relational database conceptual knowledge
Personal qualification:
· Fluency, written and spoken in English and Mandarin Chinese. Any other European language is an asset
· Strong verbal & written communication skills, able to transmit information in a clear and unambiguous way
· Responsible, methodical and organized
· Self-learner, able to look proactively for missing data and answers to questions in various possible sources of information
· Assertive, being able to make expert decisions by himself based on his own judgment
· Team player
· Availability to travel when required.
