Job Description
Our Account Managers work closely with existing clients to educate them on Who’s Calling new and existing products. This includes conference calls, site visits, trainings/presentations, and follow up on all client related issues. You will be expected to maintain a high level of proactive, consultative out-bound client contact to ensure high level of utilization and satisfaction with Who’s Calling products and services.
Someone in this position must be able to understand the operational business of the dealerships in order to effectively deliver custom presentations as they apply to the clients’ pain-points and needs, and ensure that the Who’s Calling value proposition is communicated. Ultimately, you should always be re-selling the value of any given solution the client currently subscribes to.
The ideal candidates for this position will listen effectively to customer requests and objections and successfully overcome to close and/or set up sales opportunities, and be able to resolve challenging customer issues in a timely, accurate and professional manner, while escalating critical customer issues to Regional Account Manager.
You will be expected to effectively document and manage sales activities, presentations, client meetings, prospecting, etc. through Salesforce.com for weekly review with Regional Account Manager, as well as to communicate competitive intelligence to the RAM and input it into Salesforce.com.
Duties would also include attending weekly department meetings as well as monthly one-on-one meetings regularly, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, ensuring all documentation. This position will require at least 50% travel.
Requirements:
· Automotive background preferred, but not required
· Strong communication skills
· Sales-type personality, but ability to relate well to customers
· Open to traveling 50% + within given territory
