The role of an NVIDIA Compute Solutions Sales Manager - Japan is focused on driving NVIDIA’s Tesla and CUDA products solutions, as well as those by our OEM and channel partners, into Fortune 500 enterprises and to new partners in Japan, with possibly some assistance in other Asia Pacific. Requires world-class sales and customer management skills as well as a broad understanding of high performance computing enterprise solutions and technologies. Requires extensive knowledge and experience in building new customer and partner business in the Japan and Asia Pacific territory.
The Compute Solutions Sales Manager is a key member of Compute product team which is building a new, strategic business for NVIDIA and expanding NVIDIA’s industry leadership to HPC and multi-core parallel compute processing. The Solution Sales Manager is responsible for developing an effective global Strategic Plan for assigned APAC region to penetrate new accounts and accelerating CUDA/Tesla efforts on current accounts. An integral part of Solution Sales is to expand the number and capacity of NVIDIA channel partners and consulting affiliates to help drive demand and service the target markets.
The Compute Solutions Sales Manager is expected to work as a specialist with NVIDIA's PSG Enterprise, channel and local field sales team. Together they will identify top potential Tesla revenue opportunities, as well as establish a broad base of CUDA adoption and application development in his/her assigned markets. The Compute Sales Manager will direct strategy and execute tactics to drive customer engagements to successful close and accelerate revenue.
Through knowledge of requirements and validation of customer benefits, the sales manager will develop compelling Tesla solutions which can be replicated with other customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
Evangelize NVIDIA, Tesla, and CUDA to target customers and partners.
Prequalify and prioritize customer opportunities
Drive successful customer evaluations and prototype efforts
Build a Pipeline of opportunities which can be driven to revenue
Utilize appropriate NVIDIA resources to support customer engagements
Develop repeatable sales solutions which can be replicated or adopted to drive additional business.
Expand NVIDIA’s brand and solutions into high performance computing data centers
Understand customer requirements, decision criteria, and technology adoption process
Communicate customer and industry requirements back into the organization.
Leverage and contribute to Business Development team efforts with ISV’s.
Establish solid cooperation with OEM (System Manufacturer), System Builders, Integrators and VARs as appropriate for target customers and business objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5-7 years sales related experience in High tech industry
Strong motivation to achieve the goal/revenue
Knowledge about high performance computing
Dealing with customer experience
Solid engineering knowledge
Self-starter
